About the role
This position is a field‑based Key Account Manager role focused on driving sustainable growth across strategic pharmaceutical accounts and specialised healthcare centres in Ireland. You will act as the primary link between the organisation and healthcare stakeholders, ensuring optimal access to therapies and improving patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow key accounts while aligning with national and brand strategies.
- Achieve sales targets within assigned therapeutic areas.
- Develop and implement strategic account and territory plans.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals and decision‑makers.
- Analyse patient pathways to identify barriers to access and improve treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with medical, market access and cross‑functional teams.
- Leverage CRM systems, dashboards and data insights to support decision‑making.
- Contribute to omnichannel engagement initiatives and local projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical and internal policies.
Required profile
- University degree in a scientific, medical or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with proven success as a Sales Representative or Key Account Manager.
- Strong understanding of the Irish healthcare ecosystem and stakeholder dynamics.
- Commercial mindset focused on customer and patient needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Fluency in the local language and good command of English.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a matrix organisation.
