Lead Piping Designer

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Lead Piping Designer to join its Advanced Technology design team. The role involves delivering piping design for multiple complex semiconductor projects while leading a high‑performing remote design team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead piping design delivery from concept through detailed design, ensuring safety, compliance and constructability.
• Develop 3D piping models using Plant 3D and Revit, and produce drawings, isometrics and bills of quantities.
• Create conceptual layouts, feasibility studies and detailed models based on P&IDs, specifications and equipment layouts.
• Configure Plant 3D project environments and develop P3D specifications.
• Perform design risk assessments and ensure full coordination of design solutions.
• Manage a distributed piping design team, set deliverables, monitor performance and provide technical mentorship.
• Present design solutions to clients, conduct quality checks and manage scope changes.

Required profile

• Senior professional with proven leadership experience in piping design.
• Self‑motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic project environment.
