M&E Manager – Residential Apartment Development

About the role

This position is with a leading Irish main contractor delivering a flagship high‑density residential apartment development in Dublin City Centre. The M&E Manager will own the full Mechanical & Electrical delivery, from coordination through to commissioning and handover, on a fast‑moving, multi‑block project.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all Mechanical & Electrical installation activities across the large apartment development.
• Manage and coordinate M&E subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant, and programme‑driven delivery.
• Oversee full services coordination with architectural, structural, and other trades.
• Chair coordination meetings and resolve technical clashes and on‑site issues.
• Manage commissioning, testing, validation, and system completion.
• Review technical submittals, RFIs and coordinate design inputs with consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and health & safety requirements.
• Support project close‑out, including O&M manuals, commissioning records, and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an M&E Manager or MEP Coordinator on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong background in residential apartment or mixed‑use developments.
• Main contractor site experience is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and drive programme under pressure.
• Hands‑on, delivery‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
