Quality Assurance Specialist – Biochemistry QC (Dublin)

About the role

EFOR Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support biochemistry testing in a cGMP‑compliant laboratory in Dublin. You will act as a subject‑matter expert for the QC biochemistry team, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance for release and stability programs.

Key responsibilities

• Review, schedule and execute biochemistry assays such as gel electrophoresis, ELISA and protein quantification.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical guidance to the QC biochemistry team.
• Maintain cGMP compliance and ensure accurate documentation across all laboratory activities.
• Lead “Right First Time” documentation initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Support investigators and contribute to training programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemistry or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in a QC laboratory within the biopharmaceutical sector.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and laboratory best practices.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to follow and review SOPs.
• Proactive, collaborative team player with troubleshooting skills.
