Registered Architect – 5+ Years Experience

About the role

Studio-MAC is seeking a Registered Architect with at least five years of post‑qualification experience to join its Dublin studio. This full‑time, on‑site position will lead design development across residential, commercial and public‑sector projects while ensuring compliance with Irish regulations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design development on large‑scale residential schemes (LRD/SHD) and other sector projects.
• Produce and coordinate high‑quality drawings, specifications and 3D models.
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend site visits and support construction administration.
• Integrate sustainability‑first principles, including low‑embodied‑carbon material selection.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to studio culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in an architectural practice.
• Proven experience on large‑scale residential developments (LRD or SHD).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design rigour and technical delivery.
• Working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and the planning process.
