Senior Civil Engineer – School Project (North Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on an exciting school construction project in North Dublin. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality civil works while ensuring compliance with design specifications and health & safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Setting out and overseeing building works on site
• Conducting site surveys and monitoring progress
• Checking technical designs and drawings for correct implementation
• Assisting the procurement and commercial departments
• Completing SHEQ forms and tracking site records
• Preparing labour and plant returns
• Performing general daily civil engineering tasks on the construction site

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or graduating)
• Minimum 3 years recent experience on civil engineering projects in Ireland or the UK
• Knowledge of setting‑out equipment such as GPS, total stations, and site‑engineer level tools
• Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency
