Senior Engineer – Residential Project – South Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join a leading construction contractor on a high‑profile residential development in South Dublin. The role involves overseeing the technical delivery of the project, ensuring that all works meet design specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform setting‑out and surveying activities to establish accurate build locations.
• Coordinate technical aspects of construction with site management and subcontractors.
• Maintain detailed progress records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Interpret and verify technical drawings and specifications.
• Resolve on‑site technical challenges and support the project team to stay on schedule and budget.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of setting‑out, surveying and construction methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant certifications.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and ability to work under pressure.
