About the role
The Coombe Hospital in Dublin is seeking a Senior Medical Scientist to join its Transfusion Medicine team on a permanent 0.5 whole‑time equivalent basis. The role will support the hospital’s national tertiary referral services, contributing to the delivery of safe and effective blood transfusion practices.
Key responsibilities
- Provide scientific expertise and oversight for transfusion medicine activities.
- Ensure compliance with Health Service Executive regulations and the hospital’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and research teams within the hospital.
Required profile
- Current registration with CORU (registration number required).
- Relevant qualifications and experience as stipulated by the Health Service Executive.
- Ability to submit a curriculum vitae and cover letter by the specified deadline.
