About the role
The Senior Pharmacist will deliver a high‑quality, comprehensive pharmacy service within the assigned area, ensuring the safest and most cost‑effective use of medicines. This role directly contributes to improved patient outcomes through clinical excellence and robust medication management.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services to the designated area of responsibility.
- Promote safe, clinical, and cost‑effective use of medicines.
- Support multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of pharmacy practice and guidelines.
Required profile
- Registered pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or eligible for registration.
- Minimum of three (3) years post‑registration experience in a relevant pharmacy setting.
- Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
