Senior Proposals Writer

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. It is recruiting a Senior Proposal Writer for its Proposal Development team, working on high-quality, bespoke proposals that support innovative healthcare solutions worldwide. The role can be done remotely or from one of the offices across the UK or Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for proposal development
• Write and edit high-quality proposals tailored to client specifications and requirements
• Use internal resources to support proposal content and strategy
• Manage several proposal projects at once while meeting strict deadlines
• Ensure proposals comply with internal standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, communications or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in the life sciences industry
• At least 2 years of experience in proposal writing, technical writing or a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to synthesise complex information
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
