Site Manager – Residential Construction (Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations on a residential construction project based in Dublin. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure the site delivers on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site activities, including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects and engineers for smooth execution.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Resolve on‑site issues and conflicts promptly.
• Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Manage site documentation such as contracts, permits and safety records.
• Lead and motivate the site team to achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Degree in a construction‑related field or a trade background.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in commercial construction.
• Willingness to commute to Central Wicklow.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel to various sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
