HR Generalist – Dublin 22 (4.5‑day week)

About the role
Our client is seeking an HR Generalist to join a small, established HR team supporting around 500 employees at the Dublin South site. The role combines a strong employee‑relations focus with ownership of two HR Centres of Excellence, reporting to the Head of HR on a permanent, full‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Lead grievance and disciplinary investigations from start to finish, ensuring fair processes and compliant documentation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to line managers on conduct, performance, absence and other employee‑relations matters, providing coaching and guidance.
- Participate in regular manager meetings to stay aligned with business activity and address emerging HR issues.
- Maintain consistency in the application of policies and precedents across the organisation.
- Administer performance improvement plans and support managers in handling under‑performance.
- Own the Learning & Development Centre of Excellence: identify learning needs, design and deliver training (in‑person, online, compliance and soft‑skill), manage the LMS and training records, and deliver new‑starter inductions and re‑inductions.
Required profile
- Proven experience handling employee‑relations cases, investigations and disciplinary processes.
- Ability to coach and influence line managers on performance and conduct issues.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation and best practice.
- Experience in learning‑and‑development design and delivery, including managing training records and LMS.

- Salary €50,000–€55,000 per year.
- 4.5‑day week (Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑16:30, Friday finish at 13:00).
